The Day Clinic is set within a healthcare hub adjacent to The Cambridge Biomedical Campus. The tranquil surroundings of the Gog Magog Hills and the plentiful free parking on site help to ensure that your healthcare experience is as relaxing as possible.
The clinic was carefully planned and constructed using the combined expertise of medical experts and healthcare architects. The result is an environment that surpasses healthcare regulatory standards without compromising patient experience.
The clinic is located on the first floor and there is no lift access. The stairs are of a low gradient and there are handrails on both sides but if you are unable to climb stairs we can arrange for you to be seen at an alternative venue.

The Day Clinic was founded by Mr Ahid Abood, a highly regarded and experienced Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. The clinic was conceived following many years’ experience over a lengthy NHS career as well as from establishing his private practice. Over the course of his career , Mr Abood has learnt, from the inside, how services can be run more efficiently and how the patient journey can be improved upon. At The Day Clinic, Mr Abood and his team have brought together the best aspects of healthcare provision and avoided those elements which can cause unnecessary delays, cost and inconvenience to patients.
Alongside Mr Abood, we have a hand-selected team of consultants who are experts in their respective fields. Supporting our consultants, is a fantastic team that includes experienced specialist nurses, a personable and effective patient co-ordinator and many others who are on hand to ensure we are able to deliver outstanding healthcare to our patients.
