Women's Health Specialist
Caroline is a highly experienced women’s health physician and a Fellow of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (FFSRH). She is recognized as a key opinion leader in women’s health, frequently delivering lectures at national conferences. As a founding member of the Primary Care Women’s Health Forum, Caroline actively campaigns on women’s health issues at a national level. The forum offers educational webinars and resources for both healthcare professionals and patients.
Adopting a holistic approach to women’s reproductive health throughout their life stages, Caroline considers the connections between lifestyle and overall well-being. She collaborates with women to provide personalized care, empowering them to make informed decisions about their health.
Experience
- A nationally recognized trainer in sexual and reproductive health, Caroline specializes in fitting coils and implants. She directs the Intrauterine Device Training Program run by Bayer Pharma and has trained many GPs across Cambridgeshire over the years.
- With 17 years of experience as a GP and membership in the Royal College of General Practice (MRCGP), Caroline has been a strong advocate for women’s health and has completed an MSc in Community Gynaecology.
- She spent six years in a Community Gynaecology clinic, addressing menstrual, hormonal, contraceptive, and fertility issues for women referred from general practice.
- For 14 years, Caroline has worked at the Lime Tree Clinic in Cambridge, providing contraception and sexual health care. She has treated patients with a variety of sexual health concerns and offered a referral service for complex contraceptive cases.
