GENERAL PRACTITIONER (GP)
Emma qualified from the University of Cambridge in 2004, with a Distinction in Surgery. Post-qualification, she undertook hospital-based training in Paediatrics at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, followed by a GP Training Scheme in Cambridge. Over the course of her GP training, she completed hospital placements in general medicine/care of the elderly, emergency medicine, psychiatry and obstetrics/gynaecology, and was awarded Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2011.
She has gained post-graduate qualifications in Child Health, Women’s Health, Diabetes Care, and Medical Education and Leadership. She has worked in General Practice in Cambridge since 2009 and was a Partner in an NHS practice for over 10 years. She is interested in all areas of General Practice, including Minor Illnesses, Chronic Diseases, Women’s Health, Mental Health and Health Promotion/Screening. She joined Cambridge Private Doctors in 2020 and is delighted to be able to offer patients high quality and personalised medical care.
