Dr Bordet graduated in 1999 from Leicester University Medical School with a Double Merit award and the James Overton Prize in Dermatology. She trained in general medicine at the University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Trust prior to specialising in dermatology at Addenbrookes’s Hospital in Cambridge, from where she went on to be appointed as a Consultant Dermatologist at West Suffolk Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, where Dr Bordet is still the Lead Dermatologist for the Vulval Clinic. Dr Bordet’s main NHS base is now Hinchingbrooke Hospital (North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust), where she has set up a Vulval clinic in 2020 and works as a general Consultant Dermatologist.
She has an excellent knowledge of all general dermatology, is experienced in skin surgery, and has developed sub-specialty expertise in vulval disease. Alongside her clinical roles in the NHS she has held several lead positions, including College Tutor for the Royal College of Physicians, and has helped to introduce and implement specialist dermatology services.
